Who We Are
About ICGC
Our Pastors
The International Central Gospel Church is an Evangelical, Charismatic Christian church, officially inaugurated on the 26th of February 1984 in Accra, Ghana. What began in a small classroom with about twenty members has grown into a global family of churches, with a home here in Newark, Delaware.
Our lead pastors, Kwaku and Joyce Marfo, have a heart to reach Delaware and beyond with the life-transforming message of Jesus. They believe in raising leaders, shaping vision, and influencing society through Christ.
Our Statement
of Faith
These beliefs are who we are. They are not just what we teach, they are part of our DNA.
God ▽ in
three persons
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus ▽ is
our Lord
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and in His bodily resurrection.
The Bible ▽ is
God's Word
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God.
Salvation ▽ is
by grace
We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Baptism ▽ of
the Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, as a gift subsequent to salvation.
Healing ▽ in
the atonement
We believe in the provision of bodily healing in the atoning work of Jesus our Saviour.
Christ ▽ is
returning
We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the saved unto eternal life, living forever in the presence of God.
